Below are some rider comments from Enduro Himalaya giving you an idea of their experiences...

Daniel Taylor
It’s been a long trip where my riding has really improved, the country and the people really made me look at my life back home and has enabled me to realise how lucky we really are. I’ve had a really great trip, it’s a real eye opener and the team are doing something very special.

Overwhelming memories are the amazing landscape and the fact we all pushed ourselves past what we thought we were capable of. It re-establishes faith in the human race.

Paul Kershaw
Initially realised that I was way out of my depth but thankfully I was not alone, as we got to grips with the bike it went from fear to comfort to immense fun. By far the best team in the world.

Enduro Himalaya is challenging beyond your imagination. It has forced me to re-define the meaning of respect for the people of India and the Himalayas. The trip has also changed my perception of beauty on a grand scale.

One of the last true wildernesses still unspoilt, it is a privilege to have been in the Himalayas, the friendliness of the people was overwhelming.

Life is too short, the next challenge is always the goal. What horizon awaits to see a new world, opening before our eyes – lead on Enduro.

Basil Towers
A real endurance test, a privilege to ride with everyone in such scenery.

Jamie Montgomery
I am terrified of heights and part of the challenge to me was to see if I could handle it. In the event the concentration needed to keep the bike on the road stopped all fear of the drops, as expected it was a steep learning curve for some of us but we all relished the challenge. The small group size was also a big plus because it enabled us to bond as a group. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I loved it.

Enduro India reminded me that life is to be lived, Enduro Himalaya opened my mind to the beauty of the earth and the good will of mankind. Fear made me appreciate the essence of life.

Chris Gordon
Mind blowing views, mind numbing drops, lazy Enduro evenings, the experience is overwhelming the Himalayas has so much to experience it’s difficult to sum up. This trip is the ‘raid the Himalaya’ for the ordinary man. There is nothing to fear but fear itself, I’ve learned to dig deep and I’ve become a better rider and a better person. The word awesome is overused but this trip deserves it.

Tremendous achievements of a group of people not accustomed riding so high. The humanity of the Indian people astounds you. Great to see a team so committed to making the event a success.

The term ‘life-changing’ gets used too much but I defy anyone to walk away from Enduro Himalaya the same person.

A privilege to be able to see the most amazing parts of the world in such a unique way. A genuine endurance test that made me feel that I had earned the right to see what I saw. A once in a lifetime experience for me that most people will never be lucky enough to share.
